I just finished this amazing fruit from Madeira. It tastes like a cross between a pineapple and an apple. Soft and creamy in texture with a fruity fragrance :)

So many deliciously sweet crisp cox apples. To be enjoyed just the way they are :) or in smoothies or juices.

Mum spotted these beauties across the road falling to the ground unwanted, she asked the owners and hay presto free apples!

My First Tinned Jackfruit

I bought this from my Thai shop, it was sweet, a little crunchy, chewy and fruity, very nice. I found out that this is the flavour used in the juicy fruit chewing gum which was interesting to find out. I liked it but still cannot wait to taste my first fresh jackfruit. One day I will. 

Charming Chestnuts

I found a chestnut tree down the road with its chestnuts fallen to the ground. I was gathering lots of them up when this one fell besides me, so pretty so had to take a photo.

I went to the local market and picked up some pretty good bargains. I also went to my local green grocers, and at Lidl I got 2 boxes of bananas. :D
